A SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS CAPTURING THE ESSENCE AND VIBRANCE OF SUMMERTIME IN CORTONA...
Summer in Cortona is not something one tires of easily. I’ve done 38 of
them now, so reckon I am able to make a fair judgement!
What’s wonderful about this time of year, especially when living in a
town like Cortona, are the friends and family who migrate to your door; for
many it is has become an annual pilgrimage. Cortona does that to you (as many
of us know!).
For pleasure or work, Cortona just has that extra something which
hopefully is captured in this collection of summer photographs from the valley
floor to the mountains above, capturing (hopefully) the town's vibrant buzz,
the essence of its sunburnt landscapes (quite literally this year!), its baled
hay, its iconic sun flowers and its shimmering, sun bleached olive groves.
